WEDNESDAY-10/15/08-All classes worked on research information for the Egyptian Pyramids and Temples. Each student worked on (1). History of the Pyramids -1 paragraph (2). Step Pyramid-1 paragraph (3). A pyramid of their choice from the list in class -1 paragraph . (4). History of Temples. 1 temple of their choice from the list given in class-1 paragraph. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO CREATE A BROCHURE
Thursday-10/16/08-Computer Lab (All classes will use information from research to create a brochure)
Friday-10/17/08-Computer Lab ( All classes will complete Egyptian Pyramids and Temples Brochures). Brochures will be graded.

MONDAY-10/6/08-Section 4 p. 102-106. Homework p. 106 (1-3) Due Tuesday. Section 3 and 4 review and Study Guide worksheet (Use to study for the quiz). All students need individual paper towel rolls by Thursday.
TUESDAY-10/7/08- Section 5 p. 107-113. Section 5 review and Study Guide worksheet. (Use to study for the quiz). Discuss Hieroglyphic art activity-”Buildings that tell stories”
WEDNESDAY-10/8/08-Students will work on a rough draft for their “Hieroglyphic” story. Final stories will be written in class tomorrow and placed on individual paper towel rolls. STUDY FOR QUIZ
