SOCIAL STUDIES
MONDAY-3/2/09-CHAPTER 13 TEST
TUESDAY-3/3/09-All classes will take the 6th Grade Pilot Assessment (All Shelby County Middle Schools will be taking this test. In class Chapter 14-Section 4 only. We will not test on this chapter.
WEDNESDAY-3/4/09-Chapter 15-Section 3 only. We will not test on this chapter. Homework- All students will complete a scrapbook page at home for Chapter 14 and 15. Do a time line for each chapter, two pictures that relate to something significant form each chapter lesson. On the back of each chapter page do only 5 facts. These pages will count as completed homework and must be returned by Friday to get credit. This work will also go in the scrapbook, so work must be completed.
THURSDAY-3/5/09-Chapter 16-Read section 2 & 3 (pp. 474-485). We will be reading Section 1 in class.
Friday-3/6/09-Chapter 16 Study Guides (Section 1-3) All Due Monday. This chapter test will be next Tuesday. (This will not be a long test)
TO PARENTS: We have a lot of material to cover before TCAP Testing. Your child will be doing more outside reading for home work. We will have only about three week after Spring Break to be ready. This would be a good time to let your child use the on line text book to help with reading.
