PARENTS: We are reading “The Clay Marble” an in class novel. We will be using listening tapes in class to help with the novel reading. I will keep you informed about any home work, class assignments and projects related to the novel. If a student is absent during any parts of the novel reading he/she will be able to check our a novel to take home to catch up. All grades will come from the novel reading and activities. Students will be keeping some novel work at school in their social studies scrapbooks. EXTRA CREDIT: All students will have a chance to earn extra credit by making a board game related to one of the chapters studied. I will be sending home information next week.
